Kate Hart - Forensic Services Partner
Kate has over 15 years’ experience as a forensic accountant. She trained at Deloitte and spent 11 years within their forensic accounting team before joining Roffe Swayne to establish forensic services in 2011.
Kate is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and is a member of The Academy of Experts. She also sits on the ICAEW President’s Appointments Scheme panel of experts. Kate's expertise was publicly recognised through her inclusion in Who's Who Legal's forensic and litigation consulting experts listing in 2017.
Kate has given evidence in High Court, County Court and arbitration hearings. She regularly attends mediations and negotiation meetings in an advisory capacity.
Kate speaks regularly on matters relating to forensic accounting such as the interpretation and manipulation of accounts, quantifying loss of profits, completion accounts disputes, warranty claims and business valuations.
Sue Nightingale - Forensic Senior Manager
Sue joined Roffe Swayne in 2016 after spending 11 years with Deloitte’s forensic team in London, during which time she gained a broad range of forensic experience from commercial disputes to fraud, corruption and regulatory investigations.
Sue is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and has participated in the Keble Advanced Advocacy Course a number of times as an expert accountant in order to help train barristers in cross examination and examination in chief.
Jessie King - Forensic Manager
Jessie joined Roffe Swayne as an audit trainee in 2012, moving to the forensic team in 2015 having completed a secondment with the team the year before.
Jessie is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and has gained a broad range of experience of preparing calculations and reports for commercial, matrimonial, personal injury, professional negligence and fraud cases.
Elaine Knopf - Forensic Assistant Manager
Elaine joined Roffe Swayne in 2017 after returning to the UK from Hong Kong where she worked as a manager with Kennic Lui & Co in their Insolvency & Restructuring team.
Elaine is a member/Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and, since joining Roffe Swayne, has gained experience in forensic accounting in matrimonial disputes.
